Son of Hamas leader converts to Christianity

I saw this last week Son of Hamas leader converts to Christianity denounces Islam.  Of note in the article is this quote:

“Send regards to Israel, I miss it. I respect Israel and admire it as a country,” he says.

“You Jews should be aware: You will never, but never have peace with Hamas. Islam, as the ideology that guides them, will not allow them to achieve a peace agreement with the Jews. They believe that tradition says that the Prophet Mohammed fought against the Jews and that therefore they must continue to fight them to the death.”

So there you have an explanation of the Arab –  Israel conflict in one simple quote.  There are no peace partners for Israel and sadly, unless and until the PLO Arabs, which the world calls the Palestinians, which I call the mythical people, either convert or give up Islam, there will be no road map, there will be no two-state solution and there will be no peace.  Most people gain their understanding of the situation through the main stream media, which is, to say the least biased.  George Bush, Condeleeza Rice, Barak NeObama either choose not to accept the reality of the conflict, or are tremendously dishonest, when they talk about a two state solution.  The fact of the matter is Israel gave up Gaza in 2005, and look at Gaza today.  Hamastan.  A theocracy that supports terrorism.  Melanie Phillips writes about some of the current goings on between Hamas and Fatah (the so called moderates).  It seems in the conflict between these warring parties, Fatah members are fleeing into Israel:  “Extraordinary developments in Gaza have given a new meaning to the term ‘Palestinian refugees’. As the Jerusalem Post reports, fierce fighting in Gaza between Fatah and Hamas over the weekend, in which 11 people died and dozens more were wounded, resulted in 180 Fatah refugees fleeing from what they called a ‘war of genocide’ by Hamas against Fatah supporters. And where did they flee to? Why, to Israel, of course — which allowed them in and proceeded to treat 23 of them (some of whom were wounded by the Israeli army after they approached the crossing into Israel) in Israeli hospitals.” You can link to her piece through Augean Stables. While you’re there, take a look around.  You may want to read a little about the Al-Durah affair.  And just for some additional fun, you can read about fauxtography, which has been chronicled at little green footballs and many other sites.  The bias and dishonesty and lies about Israel are breathtaking, and I read quite a lot about Israel and the Middle East.  Duh. But don’t believe me.  Do some reading, and you can start here, if you have any interest.  Oh, the irony.
